Delhi's air quality in 'Poor' condition; likely to be worsen in coming days

New Delhi: The cold has entered in many states and cities of North India. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in the coming 48 hours in South India. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that 14 may receive light rain at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal region.

Rain in Southern India:

Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli, Ramanathapuram and Thoothukudi districts may receive heavy rains with strong thunderstorms.

Chennai city and its adjoining areas are likely to remain generally cloudy for the next 48 hours. Light rains may also occur in some areas of Chennai, where its temperature is expected to be 31 to 25 degrees Celsius, with maximum and minimum respectively.

The weather of Delhi NCR can be seen fluctuating in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, November 15 or 16 may be the first rainfall of this season. This change in weather will be due to the effect of western disturbance.

Currently Delhi's air quality is very poor and after Diwali i.e. on Sunday it is expected to be worse. AQI will improve a couple of days after Diwali and there is a possibility of drizzle and rain on November 15.

Corona Updates in India:

So far, 81 lakh 15 thousand 580 patients have been cured from Corona. During the last 24 hours, 49 thousand 979 patients were discharged from hospitals. According to the Ministry of Health, the death rate is 1.47 percent. The recovery rate is 92.97 percent. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 11 lakh 39 thousand 230 sample tests were conducted on Thursday. So far, 12 crore 31 lakh more sample tests have been done.
