New Delhi: Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country. Now in the meantime, the Indian Railways has decided on Thursday that Mail, Express, Passenger Train, Local Train and EMU trains will not run till August 12. With this, if anyone has a booking in the regular train till August 12, then they will be given 100 percent refund.

Only Special train will run:

The Railway Board had earlier said on 13 May that the booking of the regular train is being canceled till 30 June and full refund will be given to the passengers. Now that the date of train cancellation has moved forward, the refund facility has also been extended till 12th August.

During this period special Rajdhani trains running from May 12 and Special Mail/Express trains running from June 1 will continue as before on track.

Ticket money will be refunded:

Earlier, the Railway ministry issued a circular on Monday. Also, all zones were informed that all tickets booked on or before April 14 should be refunded. Till now, the Railways had announced the closure of the rail services till June 30, but in the latest circular it has been extended till August 12.

According to Railway rules, a train ticket can be booked at most 120 days in advance. Now, when the railway has instructed to refund all tickets of April 14 and earlier, that is, all tickets booked before August 15 will be refunded. Now the big question is whether the railway trains will run after August 15 or not.
