New Delhi: Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Radha Mohan Singh has been assigned the additional charge of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Food and Public Distribution.

Singh has been given the additional charge for the period of indisposition of Shri Ramvilas Paswan, who is presently undergoing treatment abroad.

Suggested by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the decision has been approved by President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday last.
