Racer Ashwin Sundar, wife die in car crash

Chennai: In a shocking incident, National car racing champion Ashwin Sundar and his wife Niveditha died following a lethal car crash here.

They were travelling in a BMW car which rammed into a tree, leaving the car burning on the Santhome High Road.

As per the police, couple failed to get outside the car as they failed to open the doors.

Fire and rescue services were installed to work and took half-an-hour to douse the fire.

Racer Ashwin's wife was employed as doctor.
