Prime Minsiter Modi pauses his speech during ‘azaan’

Kharagpur, West Bengal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took a considerable pause during his public address for the azaan (prayer).

This move of Prime Minister was much appreciated by the crowd who started to cheer for him.

Modi, however, indicated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to remain silent during the prayer and he started his address soon after that.

“I do not want to cause any disturbance while someone is prayin,” Modi said after resuming his speech.
