PM Modi condoles the deaths in Himachal Pradesh bus accident

Shimla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, condoled the deaths after a private bus skidded off the road in the Himachal Pradesh, killing 30 persons and injuring several others including the bus driver and conductor.

"My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones in tragic bus accident in Himachal Pradesh. May those injured recover quickly," said the PM.

A private bus proceeding towards Solan from Reckong Peo in Kinnaur district skidded off the road and rolled down into a 300 metre gorge at Kaneri near Rampur district of the Shimla, early morning.

According to the officials as many as 40 people boarded the bus when the accident took place. It is feared that the death toll could rise further.
