PM Modi to address Parivartan Yatra in Kanpur today
Kanpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address the public gathering in Bhartiya Janata Party's Parivartan Yatra here on Monday. The PM is expected to speak on the allegations put on him by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
It may be mentioned that earlier the PM's rally in Bahraich could nor be conducted due to bad adverse weather condition but this time the district administration of Kanpur has made all proper arrangements. According to the administration officials, the PM's plane could be landed at the helipad of Indian Airforce if the weather situation turns adverse.
Kanpur District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma stated that the city has a helipad belonging to Indian Air Force. “We could use it as a runway to land the PM’s plane, if weather conditions adverse,” he said. The DM further stated that PM Modi would be escorted to the rally ground by road afterwards.
The DM also stated, " Two bullet proof cars with SOG security have also been arranged to take PM to the rally ground and nearby houses have been temporary evacuated as a security measure and the matter has been discussed with SPG team.
