New Delhi: On the birthday of the Prime Minister, the Health Ministry has set a target of 2 crore vaccine doses. To reach the target, the counter will also be run on the Cowin app. This digital counter will be updated every moment. Through this digital counter, you will be able to know how many vaccines are being administered in the country every second. A target of 1 crore vaccines has been set by 1 pm and efforts will be made to achieve the target of 2 crore vaccines by late evening.

Record breaking vaccination:

Let us inform that till now 77 crore 15 lakh 38 thousand 837 doses have been administered in the country, out of which the first dose is 58 crore 29 lakh 86 thousand and the second dose is 18 crore 85 lakh 52 thousand.

So far this has happened twice when in a day around one crore doses have been applied in India. Touching the target of 20 million vaccines will be a shocking goal for the world.

1 crore dose in 6 hours:

India has left behind 18 countries in the world in terms of vaccine, 18 countries including America, Australia, UK, France Canada, Russia, Japan are administering only 8.17 million doses daily while India alone is heavy on all these and 8.54 per day. Million vaccine doses are being given daily.

Experts in the healthy sector believe that the target of 20 million vaccines on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be called icing on the cake for a country with a huge population like India.
