PM Modi on Wednesday discussed the importance of education, research and skill development to make the country self-sufficient (Atmanirbhar Bharat). The new National Education Policy is designed with this thinking in mind.

PM Modi said in the webinar, 'For the first time the focus is on Atal Thinking Labs in schools of the country, from Atal Incubation Centers in higher institutions. A new tradition of hackathon for start-ups in the country has been created in the country, which is becoming a huge force for both the youth and industry of the country.

The Prime Minister said that content has to be prepared in Indian languages ​​from primary to higher education. Talent of poor children should not be allowed to die due to language.

PM Modi said in the webinar, " Today's churn is happening at a time when the country is moving fast towards transforming the entire ecosystem that gives direction to its personal, intellectual, industrial temperament and talent. ''

He said, 'This budget 2021 gives further expansion to the efforts made in the past years to link education, employment with the potential of the enterprise. As a result of these efforts, today India has come in the top three countries in terms of scientific publication."
