PM Modi further said that over the years, I have talked to, met, met many batches of civil servants, spent a long time with them, but your batch is very special. You are starting your work in the 75th year of India's independence. In this nectar of independence, you will play a big role in the development of the country in the next 25 years. Not many of us will be there when India enters its 100th year of independence. But this batch of yours will remain at that time, you will also be there.

PM Modi further said that at the stage of the 21st century at which India is today, the eyes of the whole world are on us. In the circumstances created by Corona, a new world order is emerging. In this new world order, India has to increase its role and develop itself at a fast pace. It is time to move forward many times faster than the pace at which we have progressed in the last 75 years. In the coming years, you will be handling some district, some department, somewhere a huge infrastructure project will be going on under your supervision. In all these tasks, you have to keep one thing in mind at all times and that is the biggest goal of 21st century India. This is the goal - of self-reliant India, of modern India. We don't have to lose this time.
