PM Modi to visit Vietnam, greets the nation on their National Day

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday stated that India and Vietnam share a great relationship. He said that partnership between India and Vietnam will benefit not only Asia but the entire world. The PM posted his greetings to the people of Vietnam, on Facebook, on their national Day.

Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to visit the country, prior to his departure, said that Vietnam is a friendly nation with whom we cherish our relationship.

What PM Modi wrote:

  • "Today evening, I will reach Hanoi in Vietnam, marking the start of a very important visit that will further cement the close bond between the two nations. My government attaches a high priority to our bilateral relations with Vietnam. The India-Vietnam partnership will benefit Asia and the rest of the world," wrote the PM.

  • PM Modi also expressed his intentions to strengthen people-to-people ties, between the two nations, during his visit.
  • “We wish to forge a strong economic relationship that can mutually benefit our citizens. Strengthening the people-to-people ties will also be my endeavour during the visit,” posted PM Modi.

PM Modi to attend G-20 summit:

  • After Vietnam, The Indian Prime Minister will visit Hangzhou in China to attend G-20 summit.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi also posted his views about attending the G-20 Summit in China on his official page on Facebook.
  • “During the G-20 Summit, I will have an opportunity to engage with other world leaders on pressing international priorities and challenges," posted the PM.

  • "We will discuss putting the global economy on the track of sustainable steady growth and responding to emerging and entrenched social, security and economic challenges,” wrote the PM.
