PM Modi talks to Mahatma Gandhi's grandson Kanubhai

New Delhi: Taking cognizance of media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday had a telephonic conversation with Kanubhai, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.

Kanubhai along with his wife Shiva Laxmi is residing in an old age home in New Delhi.

Union Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma also went to the old age home to meet Kanubhai and his wife on Sunday evening on the instructions on Modi.

Who is Kanubhai:

• Is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
• Is the eldest son Mahatma Gandhi’s third son.
• Was working for US defense and NASA.
• His wife is an ex-professor.
