NEW DELHI: On the special occasion of Mahanavami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted all the countrymen. Narendra Modi said that everyone should get accomplishment in their works with the blessings of Mother Siddhidatri. Apart from the Prime Minister, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also wished everyone.

According to the Hindu calendar, this year, Mahanavami is today i.e. on 25 October. After this, Dussehra will also be celebrated on this day due to Dashami Tithi in the evening. On this day, Mother Siddhidatri, the ninth and final form of Goddess Durga, is worshiped. It is believed that by worshiping Mother Siddhidatri all wishes are fulfilled and a man gets fame, strength and wealth. Sharadiya Navratri is completed with today's worship.

Rajnath Singh meets Army Personnel:

On the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also extended the best wishes to Vijayadashmi.
