PM pays tribute to Sardar Patel on his death anniversary

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, paid tributes to the 'Iron Man' of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary.

Modi conveyed his message through social mouthpiece Twitter. He said, "We remember the great Sardar Patel on his Punya Tithi. Every Indian is indebted to Sardar Patel for his monumental service to our nation."

Patel, the first deputy Prime Minister of country, died on December 15, 1950 at the age of 75. He was also the first Home Minister of India.
