PM Modi lands in South Africa; receives warm welcome

Pretoria: During the second leg of his five-day tour across four nations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, reached South Africa from Mozambique.

PM Modi, during his arrival at Air Force Base, Waterkloof in Pretori, was welcomed by the South African Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Nkoana Mashabane and Minister for Small Business Lindiwe Zulu.

Modi's further events:

• Modi will hold talks with the President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma on Friday

• PM will address an India-South Africa business meeting

• He will visit the Constitution Hill and the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg

• PM Modi will address an Indian diaspora rally in Johannesburg in late evening

• He will leave for Durban where he will attend a reception to be hosted by the Mayor of Durban
