Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that under the Namami Gange project, villages adjacent to the Ganges will be made Ganga villages, as well as dirty water going through the drain will be stopped.

In the last 1 year, more than 2 crore water connections have been given all over the country under the Water Life Mission. Today, every day more than 1 lakh houses are being connected through pipes with new connection of water, clean water not only makes life better but also prevents many serious diseases.

PM Modi launched many project related to Ganga:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said these things during the launch of several projects related to Namami Gange in Bihar on Tuesday. He said that the people of Bihar also contribute a lot in this work of nation building, Bihar gives millions of engineers every year to give new heights to the development of the country.

PM Modi said that the four schemes which are inaugurated today include sewer treatment plants at Beur and Karamlich in Patna city, as well as projects related to water in Siwan and Chhapra under Amrit Yojana.

PM lashed opposition:

He lashed out at the opposition and said that now, with the joint efforts of the Center and the Bihar government, the cities of Bihar are seeing continuous improvement in basic amenities like drinking water and sewer.

In the last 4-5 years, lakhs of families have been connected to water facilities in the urban areas of Bihar under the Mission Amrit and State Government schemes.

He told the people of Bihar that the land here is synonymous with invention and innovation, our Indian engineers have made unprecedented contribution in building our country and also in building the world. Whether it is dedication to work, or their fine eyes, Indian engineers have a different identity in the world.
