PM Modi to host Heart of Asia Conference in Amritsar

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host the Heart of Asia Conference, beginning Saturday, in Amritsar. The foreign ministers of countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and 14 others will attend the conference.

Pakistan strategist Sartaz Aziz will also mark his presence in the programme.

PM Modi will reach Amritsar by evening and will hold bilateral talks with Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani. Following the bad health of Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will lead delegation of India.
