Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat after a bumper victory in four states. Today is the second day of PM Modi's visit to Gujarat and meanwhile today PM Modi addressed the first convocation of National Defense University. In his address, the PM said that in the defense sector, well trend man power is the need of the hour. The Prime Minister said that this university has been born for those who want to make their career in the field of defense across the country.

PM Modi in Gujarat:

The PM further said that the country has seen many policemen in uniform during the COVID pandemic giving food and medicines to the needy during the lockdown, this is the human face of the police. Modi also asked people to change their perception towards the police.

The PM told the youth that if you wear a uniform, then do not make the mistake of thinking that the world is in your hands. The respect of the uniform grows when there is humanity in a person and when there is a sense of compassion in him.

The PM said that there was a need for reforms in law and order recruitment after independence in which we were left behind. He said that there is a perception about the police to stay away from them, although it is not with the army. The PM said that it is necessary that the policemen should be trained in such a way that they behave cordially with the people.

PM dedicated the new campus of Rashtriya Raksha University to the nation today. Home Minister Amit Shah was also present with him during the inauguration of the complex. Earlier, the PM did a road show in Dahegam, Gandhinagar. During the road show, Modi also greeted the people by shaking hands. Seeing the PM, people raised the slogan of Bharat Mata ki Jai.
