New Delhi: Watching the decades last and final solar eclipse, enthusiastic Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter on Thursday to share photos of him witnessing the rare celestial event.

PM Modi shared his experience with his social media followers on Twitter, where he wrote, "Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about #solareclipse2019 Unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts."

This rare celestial phenomena of solar eclipse was was fully visible in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, partially in southern India states including Maharaashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Gujarat, and at some place in northern India.

This beautiful and spectacular sighting was visible at different places in India and world.

However, in Delhi, the much-awaited annual solar eclipse was blocked by fog but people in the southern parts of the country were able to watch the beautiful natural phenomenon.
