PM Modi arrives in Dhaka on 2-day Visit; Welcomed by Sheikh Hasina

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Dhaka on a two-day tour of Bangladesh (Pm Modi in Bangladesh). Due to Coronavirus infection worldwide, PM Modi is going on a foreign tour after 497 days. Earlier, he visited Brazil in November 2019.

First Foreign visit of PM after Pandemic:

For the last one year, PMs are participating in important events of the world only through video conferencing. Bangladesh on Thursday said that at least five AMUs are likely to be signed between New Delhi and Dhaka during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit.

PM Modi in Dhaka:

Prime Minister Modi will also hold delegation-level talks with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her two-day visit from 26 to 27 March. Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that the number of MoUs may be more or less, but at least five MoUs are likely to be signed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that during a two-day visit to Bangladesh, Sheikh will have a "deep discussion" on different issues with Hasina. The Prime Minister expressed happiness that after the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic last year, his first foreign trip is taking place from a neighboring friend country with which India has deep ties.

In a statement issued before leaving for Bangladesh, the Prime Minister said, 'I am happy that this is my first foreign trip to a neighboring friend country after the start of the covid-19 pandemic, with India's cultural, linguistic and both countries There is a deep bond between people.
