PM Modi announces ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for kin of Bharatpur victims

New Delhi Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of those killed in a wall collapse in a marriage hall in Bharatpur in Rajasthan.
Expressing his condolences, Modi took to twitter and posted, "I am pained beyond words... My thoughts are with the families of the deceased. I hope the injured recover soon."

PM Modi also announced Rs 50,000 for those seriously injured in the incident.
It may be mentioned that at least 23 people, including four children, lost their lives and 27 others sustained injuries when a wall of a marriage hall collapsed due to a heavy storm here on Wednesday night.
