PM Modi and other BJP leaders wish Prez Kovind on his 73rd Birthday

New Delhi: India's 14th president, Ramnath Kovind is celebrating his 73rd birthday today and wishes from all over the political spectrum pouring in for him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him on his twitter account, "Best wishes to Rashtrapati Ji on his birthday. India has benefited greatly from his wisdom and perspectives on various subjects. He has connected wonderfully with every section of our society. I pray for his long and healthy life. @rashtrapatibhvn."

Home Minister Rajnath Singh also wished Prez, wishing him long and healthy life.

Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Arun Jaitley wished him good health and long life.

On his 73rd birthday let us have a look on his previous life before he was the President of India:

President Ram Nath Kovind was born on October 1, 1945 in Paraukh village in Kanpur Dehat, district of Uttar Pradesh.

Kovind holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and an LLB from DAV college, Kanpur. Ramnath Kovind also appeared in Civil services examinations and cracked it in third attempt but never joined as he passed it with minimum marks getting only allied service rather than IAS.

President Kovind was the Governor of Bihar before being elected the 14th President of India on July 25 2017 He had secured a massive margin against the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) nominee, Meira Kumar in the Presidential election.
