New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Leh today amidst the ongoing tension in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. PM Modi made this tour abruptly. He was also accompanied by Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat in this tour.
During this tour, Air Force officials informed him about important things. Significantly, since May, there has been tension on the border with China.
PM Modi in Nimu, Leh:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Nimu's forward post on Friday amid tensions between India and China. Senior officials gave him all the information about the occasion. PM Modi also interacted directly with the officers of Army, Air Force. Earlier, only CDS Bipin Rawat was supposed to come on this tour, but PM Modi himself arrived and surprised everyone.
Tribute to soldiers:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the soldiers by reaching Leh's War Memorial Hall of Fame. He then met the injured soldiers at the army hospital. After this, PM Narendra Modi addressed the soldiers. PM Narendra Modi praised the might of Indian soldiers.
