New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today gifted a pucca house to the people of Madhya Pradesh. He inaugurated the 'Home Entry Program' of 1.75 lakh houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).

Along with him, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan was also present in this program. During this time, PM Modi also talked to some of the beneficiaries who got the first house.

PM Modi congratulated families:

He said in his address, "I congratulate those who are entering home today, I wish them all the best." There are about 2 lakh families of Madhya Pradesh who are entering their homes today.

He said that if there was no Corona period then today, a member of your household, your head server is among you to join in such great happiness of your life. This time Diwali for all of you, the happiness of all your festivals will be something else.

Giving people new houses, PM Modi said that this is a very good example of turning disaster into opportunity. Our labor colleagues returned from the cities have contributed a lot to this boom.

Generally, it takes an average of 125 days to build a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In this period of Corona, houses have been built and built in just 45 to 60 days under the PM Housing Scheme. This is a very good thing. Now the government is going to the people.

PM Modi said that the beneficiary builds his own house with complete monitoring of every stage with complete transparency. Earlier the poor used to run after the government, now the government is going to the people.

Now the name cannot be added or reduced in the list as per one's wish. Scientific and transparent methods are being adopted from selection to manufacture. The designs of the house are also being made according to the local needs.
