New Delhi: An uproar has started in Parliament on the issue of farmers' agitation and agricultural laws. As soon as the proceedings of Rajya Sabha started, the leaders of the opposition started shouting slogans. Earlier, several opposition parties, including the Congress, had demanded a discussion on the issue of farmers in the Rajya Sabha, but the Rajya Sabha chairman refused to discuss today. After this, the opposition walked out.

There is an uproar in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of farmers. Opposition MPs raised slogans to withdraw the anti-farmer black law.

In view of the slogans of MPs, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha was postponed till 10.30 am.

The action of the Rajya Sabha is going to begin in Parliament. Before this, Ghulam Nabi Azad, leader of the opposition of the Congress in the Rajya Sabha, has issued a suspension of business notice regarding farmer laws.

Apart from Azad, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda, Deputy Leader of Opposition and senior Congress leader Anand Sharma have also issued notices to discuss farmer laws. Also, CPI MP Binoy Viswam and RJD's MP Manoj Jha have given a suspension of business notice in the Council of States under Rule 267 of Rules and Procedure and Conduct of Business.
