PM Modi urges retiring Rajya Sabha MPs to share their experiences of the House across country
Experience has its own importance, and I am sure retiring MPs will take it forward in service of nation says PM in Rajya Sabha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered his address in the Rajya Sabha on the occasion of the farewell of 72 retired members of the Rajya Sabha. He said that our Rajya Sabha members have a lot of experience. Sometimes experience has more power than knowledge. We will ask the retired members to come again. PM Modi said that we have spent a long time in this Parliament. This house has contributed a lot in our life. The experience gained as a member of this House should be taken to all the four directions of the country.
PM Modi told the retired MPs that in what is gained from experience, there are simple solutions to solve problems. Mistakes are minimized as there is a mix of experience. Experience has its own importance. When such experienced companions leave the House, a great loss is felt.
PM Modi said that this is the nectar festival of freedom. Our great men have given a lot for the country, now it is our responsibility to give. Now you can contribute in motivating the festival of freedom's nectar festival by going on a bigger platform with an open mind.
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said in Rajya Sabha that there is a saying in politics that ups and downs often come but one should never leave the field. We should keep this in mind while working for the people.
