New Delhi: Today is the tenth day of the monsoon session of Parliament. The opposition has united on the issue of 8 MPs suspended from Rajya Sabha. The opposition has announced a boycott of the proceedings of the House. The opposition led by the Congress on Tuesday boycotted the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. Opposition MPs walked out of the House.

Bilateral Netting of Qualified Financial Contracts Bill covers financial contracts entered into on bilateral basis outside clearing system. It'll empower financial regulators RBI, SEBI, IRDAI etc. They'll notify contract under its purview as qualified financial contractor: FM Nirmala Sitharaman

Rajya Sabha passes The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2020. Lok Sabha had passed the Bill on 21st September.

The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2020 is a law for the national and internal security. Its main motive is to ensure that foreign funds don't dominate the political and social discourse of India: Minister of State MHA Nityanand Rai, in Rajya Sabha

The government has told in the Rajya Sabha that the session had to be ended before set time. It has been decided to postpone the Rajya Sabha indefinitely, but some important bill passed by Lok Sabha will be passed by the House today.
