Gurdaspur (Punjab): The Border Security Force, on Monday, gunned down the Pakistani intruder when he was trying to sneak into the Gurdaspur district in Punjab.

According to the senior official, "The intruder has been shot dead by the BSF jawans. It is yet not clear that whether the intruder was alone or with the team."

The incident took place at around 0620 hours when the army jawans felt some movement at the International Border near Paharipur border post.

The area has been cordoned-off by the police and and a search operation has also been launched by the police.

It may be mentioned that, in 2016, Pakistani terrorists had attacked the police station in Dinanagar area of Gurdaspur.
