Bern: Making a statement at the United Nations Human Rights Council’s (UNHRC’s) 33rd session in Geneva city of Switzerland, India on Monday said the council should take heed of Pakistan’s continued support to terror outfits and required steps in this regard.

“We strongly believe that ‘zero tolerance’ against terrorism is as much as a global responsibility as it is a commitment to citizens. Hence, it is our sincere request to UNHRC that the council should have a word with Pakistan regarding its continued and direct support to terrorism.

The country’s statement came a day after one of the deadliest terror attacks on the Indian Army headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector which killed as many as 18 soldiers.
