New Delhi: Along with the cases of corona growing across the country, now another big news has come out. It is being told that 50 percent of the Supreme Court staff has been infected with Corona.

Corona outbreak in Supreme Court:

In such a situation, all the judges will now hear from their home through video conference. At the same time, the bench will sit one hour late than the scheduled time. In view of Corona cases, the entire court premises including the court room is being cleaned.

Judges to Work from Home:

According to the media report, the sources of the Supreme Court have said that many staff of the Supreme Court are infected with Corona, in such a case, the judges will hear cases from their respective homes today.

More than a lakh case in a day:

On the other hand, cases of corona are also increasing rapidly in the country. On Sunday, 1,52,879 new cases were registered in one day. According to the Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have the highest number of new cases of covid-19.

80.92 percent of new cases have been filed from these 10 states. The Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat governments have also ordered the school and college to be closed till April 30 in view of the increasing case.

Active cases in the country crossed 11 lakh, which is 8.29 percent of the total positive cases in the country. According to the ministry, 5 states - Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala - account for 70.82 percent of India's total active cases. At the same time, only Maharashtra's share in the active case is 48.57 percent.
