Once honored by Prez, 19-yr-old gang-raped in Haryana

Rewari: A 19-year-old student was kidnapped and gang raped at Kanina town in Haryana's Mahendergarh district.

The crime took place when the victim went to kanina town to attend her coaching classes.

This brilliant student was perusing her graduation and had topped CBSE board in her matriculation.

Her mother told that her daughter was also honored by President of India during Republic Day parade.

The grieving mother also said that her daughter was kidnapped & gang-raped by a group of men yesterday. She also said "Modi ji says 'Beti Padho, Beti Bacho', but how? I want justice for my daughter. Police has taken no action yet."

This heinous crime took place when the victim was ambushed by accused and offered intoxicated water. on taking it she fell unconscious and was took to an isolated place where they gang raped her, said sources.

Accused then left her in unconscious state near the bus stand in Kanina town.

Her parents rushed to kanina on getting the information and brought her home.

Her family filled a zero FIR against three youths of Naya Gaon Village at Rewari police station.

Incharge of Women Police Station, Saroj Bala said a case under Section 376 (D) (gang-rape) of the IPC has been registered against Pankaj, Manish and Nishu of Naya Gaon village on the complaint of the victim’s family.

The Mahendergarh police is investigating the case.
