No entry in Devbhumi Haridwar, Complete lockdown on weekends

In this episode, now the Uttarakhand government has taken a big decision. The borders of Haridwar have been closed due to increasing infection. That is, people from any state including UP will not be able to enter Haridwar. This order will be in force till July 20.
No entry in Haridwar till 20th July:
The boundaries of Haridwar, the sacred land of Uttarakhand, have been sealed till 20 July. During this, Somvati Amavasya will also be held on Monday. According to the strict decision of the government, devotees will not be able to take a dip in the Ganga on the day of Somavati Amavasya. No Kavad Yatra in state:
Before this, the Trivendra Rawat government of Uttarakhand had also announced about the Kavad Yatra at the start of Sawan. He prohibited the travel to Kavad in the state and directed that travelers would not be able to lift water from the Ganges river. This decision was taken in the month of Savan, in view of the crowd of Kanwario.
It was also warned that if any Kanwariya secretly enters Haridwar, they will be quarantined for 14 days. The person will bear the cost of the quarantine. People, especially Kanvad, were barred from coming to Haridwar. Along with him, the CM of UP also banned travel to Kanvad.
On the pattern of the UP government, the Uttarakhand government has also implemented a two-day lockdown format. The entire lockdown was announced on Saturday and Sunday as well. During this time markets and offices will remain closed. At the same time, during lockdown, only those people who have already booked in hotels are allowed to enter the state.
