New Delhi: Applauding the young generation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that unparalleled energy of youths is helping the government in building a 'Clean India' which will be free from all the filth including black money.

Making optimum use of the technology, PM Modi addressed the Global Citizen Festival, taking place in Mumbai, via video conferencing.

On the occasion, Modi thanked the nation, especially youths, for working shoulder to shoulder to with the government in taking forward the noblest initiative of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.

What else Modi said?

  • I'm convinced that we can and we will build a Swachh Bharat free of all forms of filth within one generation.
  • India is a young country and our future is built on the choices you make and the actions you take.
  • Be it malnutrition, unemployment, corruption or un-cleanliness, it is the poor of the country who suffers the most.
  • Youths of the country bring an energy and idealism that is unparalleled.
  • I try to be surrounded by young people as it refreshes and re energises me.
  • I enjoyed the Global Citizen Festival in the beautiful Central Park of New York back in 2014 but due to my hectic schedule, I could not manage to come in person this year.
