New Delhi: Cyclone Prevention in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is moving rapidly towards the coastal areas. After crossing Puducherry, the speed of the storm has decreased slightly. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclonic storm is no longer as dangerous as before but the rain with strong winds is still continuing.

Heavy rains in many districts

Along with this, heavy rains are seen in many districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Winds are moving at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The rains and strong winds have caused heavy destruction in many areas.

Aircraft operations at Chennai airport were suspended from 7 pm yesterday to 7 am today due to the same cyclonic storm prevention. Which was given big for some time now. Which will now be closed till 9 o'clock.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu V Narayanaswamy while giving information about the prevention of cyclonic storm said that no casualty has been reported so far. Around 2000 people have been taken to relief camps safely. There is water logging in most areas due to heavy rains. The CM was flooded around the housing.

Let me tell you that on Wednesday, the effect of prevention was seen in Chennai and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. Even before the storm came, Chennai is receiving heavy rains and waterlogging has taken place in many areas.

The coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry have been evacuated due to cyclonic storm prevention alerts. Also, fishermen have been banned from going to sea shore.

In Tamil Nadu, bus service has been suspended in 7 districts in view of the increasing threat of storm prevention. People are being appealed not to come out of the houses and stay safe.
