New Delhi: In India, cases of Corona Infection have started increasing once again. After the last 28 days, a new case of Corona has touched the figure of 14 thousand. Amidst the growing cases of Corona, another frightening news has emerged.

New Corona Strain found in India:

AIIMS chief Dr. Randeep Guleria has expressed the apprehension that the new corona strains in India may become more contagious than before. Dr. Guleria said that herd immunity against corona virus is a myth in India, because 80 percent of the country's population should have antibody development to fight the corona virus.

Corona Cases increasing in Maharashtra:

Dr. Guleria said that after seeing the way corona infection cases are increasing once again in Maharashtra, we can say that it is more dangerous virus than before. He said that the new corona strain can also attack patients recovering from infection.

Including antibodies that have not already been generated. According to Dr. Shashank Joshi, member of Covid Taskforce in Maharashtra, 240 new strains of Corona have been seen in the state. The cases of corona infection are increasing in Maharashtra due to these new strains.

Apart from Maharashtra, the number of corona infected patients is also increasing rapidly in four other states - Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Punjab. The government is trying to create herd immunity by breaking the chain of corona infection through vaccination. In this episode, vaccine is to be given to three crore health workers in the first phase. Then this vaccine will be given to 27 crore people above 50 years of age or suffering from serious diseases.
