Navy to hold 2-day painting exhibition 'Dhanak' in Mumbai

The Navy is organising a two-day painting exhibition, titled Dhanak, for the public starting Wednesday, a Defence statement informed.

Mumbai: The Navy is organising a two-day painting exhibition, titled Dhanak, for the public starting Wednesday, a Defence statement informed.

The Navy statement said the exhibition, which will be held in Ballard Bunder in south Mumbai's Ballard Pier area, will showcase paintings, artifacts including abstracts, semi abstracts and other works of various artists.

"The artists' work is generally used on board several Navy ships and submarines. They are showcasing their creative skills and talents for the public at a painting exhibition titled Dhanak," the Navy said.

It will be open for visitors from 10 am on both the days, it said.
