National Mathematics Day, the main objective of celebrating it is to raise awareness among people about the importance of mathematics. On December 22, on the occasion of the anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan, the National Year of Mathematics as well as his birthday i.e. December 22 has been declared as National Mathematics Day. Presently, the work of advancing mathematics is being done by the great mathematicians of Bihar RK Srivastava and Anand Kumar, who have become a well-known name of this field.

Motivating a positive attitude towards learning mathematics

There have been many initiatives to inspire, encourage and develop positive attitudes towards learning mathematics among the younger generation. Therefore, on this day, mathematics teachers and students are trained, camps are organized at various places to highlight the development, production and dissemination of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM) in the areas related to mathematics.

Let's know what is the history of National Mathematics Day

On December 22, on the occasion of the anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan, the National Year of Mathematics as well as his birthday i.e. December 22 has been declared as National Mathematics Day. On 22 December 2012, former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh announced to celebrate National Mathematics Day across the country for the first time.

RK Srivastava is popularly known as Mathematics Guru

Currently, the work of advancing modern mathematics is being done by RK Srivastava, a great mathematician from Bihar who teaches mathematics to students for one rupee. However, RK Srivastava has engineered 540 poor students. RK Srivastava, hailing from Rohtas district of Bihar, is famous as the Mathematics Guru in the country.

In addition, his way of magically teaching mathematics in sports is excellent. They teach mathematics by practicing junk. With just one rupee, Guru Dakshina teaches the students. Srinivasa Ramanujan is one of the greatest mathematicians whose support and contributions have given mathematics a completely new meaning.
