Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauds ISRO over INSAT launch

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday lauded the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) following the launch of advanced weather satellite INSAT–3DR on-board GSLV–F05. The premier termed the launch as a marvellous achievement which has made the country proud.

The mission, GSLV’s 10^th flight, bears significance for ISRO as it fitted first operational flight of the rocket with indigenous cryogenic upper stage.
