Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauds ISRO over INSAT launch

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday lauded the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) following the launch of advanced weather satellite INSAT–3DR on-board GSLV–F05. The premier termed the launch as a marvellous achievement which has made the country proud.

The mission, GSLV’s 10th flight, bears significance for ISRO as it fitted first operational flight of the rocket with indigenous cryogenic upper stage.
