Nainital HC puts stay on floor test of Uttarakhand Assembly

Nainital: In another turn of events, a division bench of the Nainital High Court stayed the order of single bench to hold the floor test for Harish Rawat government in Uttarakhand on Thursday,

The double judge bench also stayed the floor test and directed to maintain status quo. The next date of hearing is fixed forApril 6 next.

Fresh order clearly meant that the Rawat government will not have to prove its majority on the floor of the Uttarakhand assembly on Saturday as per the direction of single-judge bench on Tuesday last.
