51 mm mortar exploded, four BSF jawans sustained injuries in Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer: At least four Border Security Force (BSF) jawans were injured during mortar firing practice at Kishangarh near Pakistan border in Jaisalmer.
The incident took place when the Jawans of 154 battalion of Gujarat were practising 51 mm mortar and suddenly at around 1700 hours, on Friday, the explosion took place due to technical snag.
Four BSF personnel- an inspector, a head constable and two constable were immediately taken to Mathura Das Mathur hospital in Jodhpur by Air Force Helicopter.

The doctor said that the condition of the two jawans are critical as they sustained severe injuries.
DIG Amit Lodha stated, "Two jawans are out of danger while two of them are in critical condition."
