Regarding the Vande Bharat Mission amid the Corona crisis, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri said that till now two lakh 80 thousand Indians were brought back from abroad through Air India.

New Delhi: Regarding the Vande Bharat Mission amid the Corona crisis, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri said that till now two lakh 80 thousand Indians were brought back from abroad through Air India. A large number of Indians were brought home from Dubai and the UAE. At the same time, 30 thousand Indians were brought back from America under this mission.

International flight to begin soon: Puri

For informing about this, Hardeep Singh Puri addressed media. In the press conference Puri said, "We are in the advanced stage of negotiations with at least 3 countries - France, USA and Germany - for the air bubble." Air France will operate 28 flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to Paris from July 18 to August 1.

Meanwhile, India has recorded 9,36,181 cases of the corona virus and 24,309 deaths. According to the Union Health Ministry’s latest update, of these, 3,19,840 are active cases while 5,92,031 have recovered.
