Monsoon Update: Heavy Rain alert in these states including UP-Bihar, Delhi

Alert has been issued for Bihar. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with heavy rain in Bihar.

New Delhi: Heavy rain continues to wreak havoc in many states of the country. The people of the capital, who were living in the heat for several days, got some relief in morning. It rained in many areas of Delhi.

Monsoon 2021:

The Meteorological Department had predicted that some areas of Haryana and Rajasthan, including Delhi, would receive rain on July 29. The weather is about to take a turn in UP-Bihar too. Alert has been issued from IMD Bihar. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with heavy rain in Bihar.

Rain in Himachal:

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a threat of heavy rains in some parts of North India, especially Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next three days. For the next three days, there will be heavy rain in parts of North India and Northwest India.

Scattered rain and thundershowers are very likely over Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh from Tuesday to Thursday. The IMD has predicted extremely heavy rainfall in the Himalayan states including Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on July 2Alert has been issued for IMD Bihar. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with heavy rain in Bihar.

A similar situation is likely to be witnessed in some parts of Northwest Uttar Pradesh also on 27th July. The IMD has issued a red alert for Tuesday and Wednesday in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh due to inclement weather.

Rain Alert in Lucknow:

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at isolated places over Northeast Rajasthan, parts of Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Western Himalayas, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim and Gujarat. It may rain heavily.

Light to moderate rain at one or two places is possible over Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep at isolated places. Light to moderate rain is possible over rest of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Vidarbha.
