New Delhi: According to the Meteorological Department, due to the present weather system, the monsoon will show its intensity in South and East Central India from July 9, ie Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya will receive rain.

Monsoon 2021:

At the same time, from July 10, the monsoon is likely to become active again in Northwest and Central India. During this, rain can be seen in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal, Uttarakhand.

Due to the formation of pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and the advance of monsoon, there is a possibility of widespread rain over Northwest India after 10 July. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Punjab on July 11 and 12.

Rain alert in UP & Uttarakhand:

Heavy rain has been predicted in Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh between July 9 and July 14. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Uttarakhand on July 11 and 12. An orange alert has been issued for this.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi from July 10 to July 14. Apart from this, rain is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh during July 09 to 10.

Widespread rain very likely to occur at isolated places over Central and adjoining East India (Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha) during most days of the week.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall over Maharashtra & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala during 09-12 July for most days of the week due to strengthening of Southwest Monsoon winds extending from Arabian Sea to West Coast and likely to form trough. Very heavy rain is likely. At the same time, on July 13 and 14, there will be very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Konkan and Goa, it is expected.
