Monsoon 2021: Heavy rain Alert in these states including Bihar today, CHECK!

New Delhi: A trough is running from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar via Gangetic West Bengal up to Assam. Also, another trough is extending from Northeast Bihar to Interior Odisha. Under its influence, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in the northern and south-west parts of Bihar.

Rain Alert:

Light to moderate rain is possible over remaining part of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy sky and light rain in Delhi today.

Light rain will occur in many parts of Delhi, Punjab. There will be relief from the heat during this time. Here, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar adjoining Nepal, Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha. There is also a possibility of lightning during this time, due to which one has to be careful.

Heavy Rain in Madhya Pradesh:

According to Skymet Weather, there may be moderate rains in Chhattisgarh and heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the absence of unfavorable conditions for further advance of Southwest Monsoon, there is little chance of relief for the people of Rajasthan at present.

According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in North Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and parts of Coastal Odisha on Sunday. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rayalaseema and North Tamil Nadu.

Monsoon activity remains normal over Bihar. Light to moderate rain occurred in most parts of the state in the last 24 hours, while some places in North Bihar have recorded very heavy rains. On the basis of satellite images and statistical calculations, it has been told by the Meteorological Center Patna that till now the rain conditions were strong in the north Bihar side of the state.
