Mohan Bhagwat courts controversy; says Muslims are Hindu by nationality

Bhopal: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday welcomed another controversy, saying, everyone born in India is Hindu. He said Muslims prefer different way of offering prayer to God but their nationality is Hindu.

“Every Indian born individual is Hindu. Some are idol-worshippers while others offer prayers by different ways. Muslims could be Muslims by faith but in actual they are Hindus by nationality,” said Bhagwat while addressing ‘Hindu Sammelan’ here.

“It is a necessity for Hindus to stay united by burying their differences,” he added.
