Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Kerala tour on Sunday, is expected to dedicate Rs 16,504 crore fund to build an integrated Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) refinery expansion complex.

It will not only be the single largest investment to Kerala but is also a complete ‘Make in India’ initiative, which is aimed at reducing dependence on imports.

Apart from this, PM Modi is also scheduled to dedicate the Mounded Storage Vessel of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

He will also lay the foundation stone of a Skill Development Institute, promoted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in Ettumannor, district Kottayam.

It is to be mentioned that, this is Modi’s second visit to Kerala this month where he will address a state meeting of the Yuva Morcha in Thrissur and will return to Delhi on Monday evening.
