Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Modi Government's flagship program, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojanawas launched in June 2015 with the aim to fuel the concept of "Housing for All". The PMAY scheme works towards making life better for homeless people in India. The scheme aims to construct two crore homes for people belonging to low-income families, middle-income groups and economically weaker sections.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana

Ayushman Bharat or "Healthy India" is a national initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the part of National Health Policy 2017, in order to achieve the vision of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). AyushmanBharat is an attempt to move from sectoral and segmented approach of health service delivery to a comprehensive need-based health care service. Ayushman Bharat aims to undertake path breaking interventions to holistically address health at primary, secondary and tertiary level.

Ujjwala Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) is a step by the Modi government to safeguard the health of women and children by providing them with a clean cooking fuel – LPG. PMUY was launched by PM Narendra Modi on May 1st, 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Under PMUY, 5 Cr LPG connections will be provided to BPL families with a support of Rs.1600 per connection in the next 3 years. Ensuring women's empowerment, especially in rural India, the connections will be issued in the name of women of the households.

Jan Dhan Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) was announced by PM Narendra Modi on 15th August 2014 from the ramparts of the Red Fort. While launching the programme on 28th August, the Prime Minister had described the occasion as a festival to celebrate the liberation of the poor from a vicious cycle.

Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. It has become operational from 1.12.2018. Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal installments will be provided to all land holding farmer families. Definition of family for the scheme is husband, wife and minor children. The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana / Package is a comprehensive relief package of Rs 1.70 Lakh Crore Yojana for the poor to help them fight the battle against Coronavirus. This was announced in March 2020, to reach out to the poorest of the poor, with food and money in hands, so that they do not face difficulties in buying essential supplies and meeting essential needs.

Jal Jeevan Mission

Jal Jeevan Mission, is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India. The programme will also implement source sustainability measures as mandatory elements. The Jal Jeevan Mission will be based on a community approach to water and will include extensive Information, Education and communication as a key component of the mission.

Swachh Bharat Mission

PM Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on 2nd October 2014 to accelerate the efforts to achieve universal sanitation coverage. Under the mission, all villages, Gram Panchayats, Districts, States and Union Territories in India declared themselves "open-defecation free" (ODF) by 2 October 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing over 100 million toilets in rural India.
