New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the 51st and the last edition of his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', today at ‘All India Radio’.

PM Modi has been utilizing this platform to address several key issues,like education of the girl child, tackling exam stress, curbing pollution, concerns to farmers, poverty and drug menace.

The address, is being aired on DD National, DD News and also at YouTube official channel. During the program, Prime Minister Modi shares his ideas and answers to questions received from across the country.

Last month, the Prime Minister delivered 50th address where he said that India’s main soul is not in politics but in social policy, social power and social service.

Highlights of 2018's last 'Mann Ki Baat' episode:

-Modi not only urges people to visit Kumbh mela, which is to be started from January 15, 2019, in Prayagraj but also share their images on social media to influence others to visit Kumbh. Modi said that Kumbh Kumbh is huge as well as divine and UNESCO listed Kumbh in Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity last year.

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi also remembered our 'Father of the Nation', as 2019 marks the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

-PM Modi also hailed Pune's cyclist, Vedangi Kulkarni who used to cycle 300 kms each day for more than 150 days. Prime Minister called her passion "commendable".

-Speaking about health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about initiatives taken by his government to launch such large scale schemes where millions of people got benefited in 2018. The Prime Minister also added that electricity has reached every village of the country.

-Modi also dedicated newly built 'Bogibeel bridge', nation's longest rail-cum-road bridge, to nation this month in his radio program.

-He said that world’s Top global agencies have accepted the fact that India is pulling its people out of poverty.

-PM Modi praises doctors of Bijnor for their free services given out to people in need he also acknowledged that over 100 people were benefited by the free camps.

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi expresses thanks to citizens of India for tuning in 'Mann Ki Baat' for its 51st editon.

According to PM Modi, “Mann Ki Baat is about people, not politics.”

He said in last episode, "When Mann ki Baat started, I decided that politics will never be a part of it. It’ll neither attract praises for the government nor my name. I got the inspiration and strength to stay true to my resolution from all of you.”
