Lucknow: After starting his second term as Prime Minister in May 2019 with 57 ministers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reshuffle and expand the Union Council of Ministers (Modi Cabinet Expansion 2021) for the first time on Wednesday. The swearing-in ceremony will take place following the covid protocol in the Ashok Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan at 6 pm on Wednesday.

Modi Cabinet:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to expand his cabinet for the first time today in his second term. The swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening, for which an invitation has been formally sent.

Resignation of Debasree Chaudhuri:

West Bengal MP Debashree Choudhary has been asked to resign. She was the Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Nishank Resigns:

Cabinet reshuffle: Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar and Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank resign.

According to the information, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been removed from the Union Cabinet due to ill health. His health was deteriorating ever since he got corona.

There is news quoting sources that three ministers of state may be promoted in the cabinet expansion. These include Minister of State for Agriculture Purushottam Rupala, Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy and Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur.
