New Delhi: There is going to be an expansion in the Union Council of Ministers this evening. Many ministers have been discharged before the expansion of the cabinet. Several ministers, including Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar, have resigned from the Union Cabinet.

Ahead of the cabinet reshuffle and expansion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with potential ministerial faces at his official residence. Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sarbananda Sonowal were all potential ministers present in the meeting. During this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda were also present. Anurag Thakur, Pankaj Choudhary, Anupriya Patel, Satyapal Singh Baghel, Rajiv Chandrashekhar, Shobha Karandlaje, Bhanupratap Singh Verma, Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Meenakshi Lekhi, Annapurna Lekhi, A.
